Like the L298N, it has a speed pin (PWMA, PWMB) and two direction pins (AIN1/AIN2, BIN1/BIN2) for each motor, so the robot car's code needs only small changes. Its STBY pin must be HIGH, or the driver stays asleep. It has no 5 V regulator: the Uno needs its own supply.
