Originals and copies
The original board is made by Arduino. Copies with the same pins are sold everywhere and work the same way in the Arduino IDE. Many copies use a CH340 USB chip; on some computers it needs a driver.
Power
- USB: about 5 V from the computer (500 mA at most).
- VIN or the round socket: 7–12 V.
- On the robot car: the L298N's +5V feeds the 5V pin (about 4.4 V from four AA cells).
